To permanently delete your WhatsApp account, follow these steps:
- Open WhatsApp and go to “Settings”.
- Tap on “Account” and then “Delete my account”.
- Enter your phone number in the full international format (+ [country code] [phone number]).
- Tap on the drop-down menu and select the reason for deleting your account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account by tapping on “Delete my account”.
- Enter your phone number again to confirm that you want to delete your account.
- Tap on “Delete my account” again to complete the process.
Once you delete your WhatsApp account, your messages, contacts, and account information will be deleted permanently and cannot be restored.
